Twitter Suspends Jordan Peterson For ‘Misgendering’

Peterson referred to actor Elliot Page by her birth name Ellen Page and the “her” pronoun.

Twitter informed Peterson that his comments…

Violated our rules against hateful conduct. You may not promote violence against, threaten, or harass other people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religious affiliation, age, disability, or serious disease.

Peterson’s daughter, Mikhaila, announced the suspension on her own Twitter, tagging Elon Musk and adding that the site is “Definitely not a free speech platform at the moment.”

Dave Rubin (who is gay) is also suspended for mentioning Peterson’s suspension.

Years ago Peterson opposed Canadian Government Bill C-16 on free speech grounds. He argued that bill would open up the floodgates for prosecuting people who refuse to use a transgender person’s preferred pronouns.

Bette Midler & Macy Gray Attacked For Stating Scientific Fact.

Here is the tweet from Bette Midler that got her in trouble with the Gender Activists.

As a classic Christian, I’m not on board with Midler about the “rights over our bodies” part. When there is a pregnancy there are two bodies involved. Not just one. It is much more complicated and morally nuanced than that. But she is certainly right about the other stuff. And the wholesale devaluing of female bodies that Gender Ideology represents.

Go Bette! (“Make alliances were we can!!”)

Also, here is artist Macy Gray’s comment that got her in trouble with the Gender Activists.

To which J.K. Rowling responded with a tweet (I love J.K.)

A “pittance” for J.K. But a nice gesture.

We need to return to sanity, folks. Love people who are confused, but don’t affirm confusion. I fear for a culture that does.

“Woman” Cancelled

CLK above is replying to Bette Midler, who recently got in trouble for stating the obvious: “I thought you stood up for LGBT+ people” CLK tweeted.

To which the obvious reply would be that, well of course we want confused people who think they are born in the wrong body to have civil rights etc…but it doesn’t mean we don’t believe they are greatly confused.

That’s something we should be allowed to say in public.

We can believe both that people are confused AND that the cancelling of “woman” for the sake of “inclusion” is devastatingly beyond the pale.

Why is this not happening to “men”? Hmmm? As the graph above indicates. If you are a woman you are a “vulva owner.” If you are a man? Still a man?

Or will that term eventually be cast into the “dustbin of history” too?
